Working at Our Kya Sand Base
Our team works from Kya Sand in Johannesburg, where we handle stock, orders and client support for businesses across South Africa. The pace is steady and the work is hands-on, so we look for people who stay organised, communicate clearly and can manage pressure when orders are urgent.
Because we supply trade customers, accuracy matters. A small mistake in ink selection or stock count can delay a print run, so we value people who check details and ask questions early. Load-shedding, courier cut-off times and busy month-end periods are part of the routine, and the right person can keep calm and carry on.
We welcome people who want proper responsibility, not just a seat and a title. If you like practical work and clear systems, there may be a place for you here.
Roles We Recruit For
Our openings usually fall into three main areas: sales, warehouse and customer support. Each role supports the others, so teamwork is important across the board.
- Sales roles: Helping trade customers choose the right ink, checking printer compatibility and handling order follow-ups.
- Warehouse roles: Receiving stock, picking orders, packing couriers and keeping batch records in order.
- Customer support roles: Assisting with enquiries, stock planning, colour troubleshooting and basic product guidance.
Depending on the business need, we may also look for people who can support logistics, sample orders or bulk account coordination. Some roles suit applicants with printing industry experience, while others are better for people with strong admin and service skills.
What We Look For In An Applicant
We are interested in people who are dependable, neat in their work and willing to learn. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you must be willing to follow instructions and keep your work accurate.
- Good communication in English and, where useful, Afrikaans or another local language
- Basic computer skills and comfort with simple order systems
- Attention to detail when handling stock, labels and customer notes
- Ability to work as part of a team and help during busy periods
- Respect for deadlines, especially for courier collection times
Experience in printing, manufacturing, warehousing or customer service is useful. A clean, practical approach counts for a lot here. If you can work through a task properly, that matters more than fancy talk.
How To Apply
All job enquiries should come through our contact page enquiry form. Please include your name, the position you are interested in and a short note about your experience. If you have worked in sales, stock handling or customer support before, mention the type of work and for how long.

- Attach any relevant documents if requested through the form
After we receive your enquiry, we review it internally and contact suitable candidates with the next step. Please make sure your details are correct, as this saves time for both sides.
What The Day-To-Day Work Looks Like
Depending on the role, your day may include helping a customer choose between ink types, checking a stock count, preparing a courier order or answering a technical question about line cleaning. The work is practical and often time-sensitive, especially when a client is trying to keep a print run moving.
We also deal with trade needs that change quickly. A customer may need a sample order, a refill plan or advice on keeping colours consistent across multiple batches. That means you must be comfortable with real-world problems, not just routine admin.
In the warehouse, accuracy and care are non-negotiable. In customer support, tone matters just as much as speed. In sales, you need to listen properly before recommending a solution. It is honest work and sometimes the days run long, but the job is straightforward when everyone does their part.
Why People Stay With The Team
People tend to stay when they can see their work making a difference. At Sublimation Ink, your effort helps a garment decorator, screen printer or reseller get the right product on time. That kind of work is practical and measurable.
We also understand the reality of South African business. Power cuts, courier delays and month-end pressure happen, so we prefer staff who can think ahead and solve problems without drama. It helps if you are the sort of person who keeps your station tidy and your notes clear, becuase that saves time later.
For the right person, this can be a solid place to build experience in trade supply, printing support and order handling. You learn the product, the process and the customers, which is useful in the long run.
